โI had a lovely stay at the Best Western Plus West Retford Hotel. The grounds are beautiful and the historic building adds a lot of charm. My room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout. Dinner at the restaurant was excellentโfresh and well-prepared. Only downside was the breakfast, which felt a bit basic compared to the rest of the experience. Overall, a peaceful and enjoyable stay. Would definitely return!โ
โThe setting was beautiful as was the lodge for the most part, only complaints are the pull out bed in the living room and would of been nice if the hosts warmed the cabin up before arrivalโ

Car parking is plentiful and very convenient straight outside our room ( actually perfect if one had any mobility issues or required safe parking for valuable stock in a van ).โ
โComfortable quiet stay part of a longer visit to relatives. Room was cosy and ensuite was good fully functioning with lovely shower. Bed was firm but comfortable ,facilities limited but to an acceptable pricepoint

โThe apartment was securely accessed. The apartment itself was large, comfortable and very clean.
Access to the nearest pub/restuarant was only 4 min walk away, but kitchen facilities were ample if you wanted to make your own food.โ
โThere was lots of parking available. Check in was easy and the receptionist was very helpful in pointing out where our room could be found and where the spa could be accessed near our room. Having three single beds in one room is a really good idea for three adults to share - I went with my two daughters and none of us wanted to share a double bed so three singles in a room was exactly what we needed. โLovely location by the lock, as soon as we entered the bar area to collect key welcoming environment we made enquiries about the area as considering relocating everyone was so helpful.
