아크로폴리스 언덕과 박물관, 플라카, 신타그마, 모나스트라키 같은 관광스폿에 걸어갈 수 있습니다. 약간 위쪽으로 걸어올라가면 아크로폴리 지하철역으로 이어지는 넓은 산책로를 만납니다. 걷고 뛰기 좋습니다.
호텔에서 배정해 준 운전사도 친절하고 정직한 분이었습니다. 합리적인 요금에 공항과 호텔 이동을 도와 주었습니다. 약간 짐이 있거나, 일행이 있을 때에는 웬만하면 주저하지 말고 호텔에 부탁하여 공항이동하시는 것이 좋습니다.
옥상 루프탑 라운지는 바로 아크로폴리스 전망을 즐길 수 있습니다. 여기에서 아침 식사를 제공합니다. 영양, 맛 좋습니다. 서울에서라면 이런 조식뷔페는 30유로 정도 추가로 청구할 수준입니디.
방은 약간 좁지만 그만큼 객실료가 싸니 만적도를 해하는 것이 아닙니디.
주변 지역은 올드 타운이라 신도시만큼의 깨끗함까지 기대하기는 어렵지만, 시차 적응이 안되어 한 밤중에 돌아다니는데 불편함을 느끼지 않았습니다.
내 나이 만 61세에 처음 아테네에 왔으니 남은 생에 다시 올 수 있을 지 의심스럽지만, 다음에 온다면 이 호텔로 먼저 와서 이번 가족여행을 상기하게 될 겁니다.
