"I had the room at the front of the building. The room was spacious, with two huge windows, so plenty of light. The view is good at eye level and above. It was well decorated and pleasant. On the down side, it overlooks the main road so is rather noisy. During the day, it's a continuous drone, so it fades into the background. At night, earplugs! These are kindly provided. Be aware, the other rooms face onto a wall."

"Avoid this place. Check-in was difficult in the dingy reception, which looked like a dump, as the elderly lady had no idea I was coming. Finally she understood, but asked if I had already paid, which I had.Room was up 4 flights of stairs. Big room but walls covered in dark wood, only one small window, very dingy.Bed was lumpy, shower good & hot, only one plug socket away from the kettle,light switches on the other side of the room from the bed. "The overall experience was amazing. The property and the staff were all great, the breakfast was excellent, and service was 5 star to say the least. The room we chose had pool access with a bar right next to it, which made it convenient to grab a drink during their 50% off happy hour. The only thing I recommend is updating the property a bit, but they are already working on that by starting with the main pool. Excellent stay overall, will definitely recommend it to friends and family."

Le Meridien Phuket Beach Resort

"We stayed at Le Meridien as a group of 6, 5 Adults and one 8 year old for a week (one adult stayed 4 nights). We all really enjoyed our stay. The resort is large, clean, well maintained, with good amenities. Breakfast has a wide choice and wasn't overly busy. The hotel is a little out of the way, but 10-15 mins in a taxi gets you into Karen, Kata or Patong. The only slight negative was that we were given 3 rooms, weren't told which was which was allocated to who and this caused some challenges with charging food/drinks to the rooms, also with the early checkout. In theory this should have been easy to rectify but it never did happen. However, it didn't affect the quality of our stay or the enjoyment of it."

"One of the nicest hotels we’ve stayed in, staff are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Our room was great with a stunning view and sunset, pool was warm, breakfast good. Kamala town was only a few minutes (and 200baht) in a taxi and lots of choice of restaurants. Would definitely recommend."

"Fantastic family stay. We had a Grand Suite (Thani Wing) and the view was perfect. Nice big room for 2 adults and a child, though because the childs bed was in the living room area, we could have used an extra chair or seating option. Close to all pools and the beach. House keeping team were great. Excellent breakfast options in a clean environment. The hotel restaurants were quite a bit more expensive than the ones outside the complex, without much difference in the food. Excellent bars in the hotel. Happy hour at the Coconut Bar was 5.30 - 7 each day and included some fantastic sunsets. Variety of pools were brilliant. New kids pools across the road were fun and included a lazy river, as well as 4 slides and wave pool. Great location. 5 minutes from Kata Beach, 10 from Karon, 25 from Patong. Will return when we next visit Phuket."
