"Entrance and foyer has been renovated and looks lovely. Staff were very nice and helpful. Not impressed they now charge for parking and that massive carpark has been boom gated.Room was spacious and bed was comfy - but only a double. Aircon wouldn’t go any higher than 18.5 degrees. Bathrooms were large but had shower over the bath and in desperate need of a reno. Overall pretty good value for money."

"Room and bed were alright. Check in was self done. Staff barely acknowledged us. We were put on the ground floor which was close to a function room that had a live band playing. We were not told about this or given an option if we didn’t want to be near the room. When I went to ask about it I was ignored by the bar staff for about 5 minutes until I butted in. There was no one on reception. I was told the band was playing till 10 but they would ask them to turn it down. The noise level didn’t change and the band kept going until after 10. Lady on reception at check out was on her phone and was abrupt. Quite disappointing considering we’ve stayed before and it’s been good."

"For a budget cabin and I didn't have high expectations, I was very impressed....Clean, comfortable, with a bed to die for....plenty of hot water , wonderful fluffy, soft towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand wash and body lotion....lux....hairdryer, large fridge..nothing was missing... Highly recommend Avina Van Village for your next stay...🌟"
