A warm welcome in a lovely place to stay

Our room was spacious and clean and the bed was very comfortable. We received a very warm welcome from Nathalie and Adrien and they were very helpful.

Excellent bed and breakfast stop on way to the tunnel. Quiet location on outskirts of Abbeville with shops and restaurants a short drive away.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay in this gorgeous converted barn. The owners were so friendly and the place was so picturesque. Definitely recommend this Gite for everyone. Brilliant value.

Although the landlady did all what was possible, the description on Hotels.com of the accommodation offered was highly misleading. Firstly, it is not a hotel, so the reservations are not monitored, and thus our arrival at the doorstep of the house was completely unexpected. Despite the system accepting a booking online, you need to ring to check if anybody is home. There are simple rooms available in an annex building, which are basic (eg. no TV, or other comforts), it seemed suitable for summer accommodation. Locating the property involved driving around unlit & narrow country roads, knocking on doors of very kind neighbours. A somewhat challenging experience, but the landlady certainly put a smile on our faces with her friendly character.

We really enjoyed staying here. A staging post on a longer journey from the UK to central France, the owner very kindly welcomed us despite the very unsociable hour,.thanks to a Le Shuttle delay. A warm welcome, and an excellent sense of humour, made for a comfortable stay. The coffee was delicious, as was the fresh bread over breakfast. Thank you!

Lovely stay

Great stay, room was lovely and really comfy bed. Both the room and bathroom had heating so even in December it was nice and warm. Nathalie was a great host :) - I was able to use the microwave and cutlery etc to warm my dinner as I was exhausted after a long ride. I had to leave by 7am so she left me coffee, toast, and lovely home made jam so that I could have breakfast before I left. My little dog and me felt right at home. Thanks again :)

This was our first night in France on a short tour of the DDay beaches etc riding our motorbike. We were greeted by a very friendly lady and her husband who had a love of motorcycles. We spent a little time looking at his collection and later looked at the memorabilia of his time racing motorcycles. It was the most peaceful nights rest we’ve had for a while and a great start to our holiday. The lady also recommended somewhere to eat about 20/30 mins away and the meal was delicious. Looking forward to book here again.

It was peaceful. The hosts were very pleasant and helpful, especially about finding a meal in local towns. Breakfast was very limited but good. Bread,butter, jam and good coffee. I would suggest charging a bit more and putting on ham, pastries and cheese. Enjoyed it and would return. Tom. Also dog friendly.

We were in the annex - very good but very basic. No TV. Breakfast was bread and jam - sliced brown only one day but had own French Bread. No restraunts nearby so brought food in to eat at night.

Quiet rural location

We loved this place although it might not suit everyone. Rural location in very small but quaint French village. Room was quite basic but clean and a comfy bed. A kitchen is available with kettle, toaster and microwave. Owner is very friendly and helpful.
