This hotel was the perfect location for our first trip to Edinburgh as it was centrally located in the Old Town. All the staff we interacted with were very friendly and helpful. The only hiccup we had was they had turned on the heat for the season and because our first few days were unseasonably warm it made the room super uncomfortable. It also didn’t help that the windows barely opened although the concise staff did give us an extra fan. Also if you’re a light sleeper keep in mind that the pub below can get a little rowdy on weekends into the wee hours.

Eleven Stafford is a beautiful building and the Glencairn room is fabulous. It is in a great location for restaurants and visiting different sites of interest in the city.

The room was clean, nice and comfortable. I appreciate the front desk giving ear plugs since there is a bar on the side that does play music most evenings. The day staff was very friendly and had good recommendations around the area. It had a great location in the middle of the city and walkable to all the big things you want to see on your visit.

"The hotel staff were amazing and gave great recommendations for where to have dinner. The room itself was extremely clean and updated and modern. The only thing I wish that I could change was that either the room was a little bit bigger and or that the shower was a tad bit bigger."
