"The room had clean sheets but the top throw had holes in it and didn’t look that clean. The tap was hanging off the sink in the room.There was only 1 of 4 toilets working on our floor the others were locked off. The toilet that was working had a very dirty floor and there was no sink or soap anywhere to was your hands. I decided that showering was not an option as that was dirty too. "Very nice room overlooking the beautiful garden. Although it was a very hot night, with the windows open all around I got a cooling breeze from the garden. The area was quiet. Easy walking distance to cafes, shops, restaurants and the market. Secure parking."

"First time using the hotel - late arrived at 10:40pm and reception was open and the bar also. Hotel parking secure behind a metal gate with code entry. Restaurant in the hotel which we didn’t have time to use, noticed there were at least 5-6 places to eat and drink adjacent to the hotels. Staff very helpful, beds really comfortable, shower was hot, very large smart TV and a kettle with coffee/tea. We’ll use it again."

"We had an overnight stay here on our way back to Calais. Electric car charging point available, although only 1 so we were lucky to get it! Slow charging so ideal as we left it overnight to be fully charged. Beautiful setting right on the Seine. We had a standard room which was perfectly good for 1 night: air con, big walk in shower, tea and coffee facilities (though take English tea bags if you like English tea!). We had dinner in the restaurant which was delicious and the staff were lovely. Breakfast the next day was delicious. Very good value and we would def stay here again if on our way to Calais."

"If you are looking for quiet luxury, a picturesque setting, and proximity to a forest trail with access to the Seine, then look no further than this spot in the valley. The host is fluent in 3 languages, the room is perfectly appointed, and the pool and lounge areas are a lovely spot to unwind. Breakfast was perfectly simple French Village style, and enjoyed best on the patio. If you want to avoid the over priced B and Bs of Giverney, or the cookie cutter hotels of Vernon, this is the place for you."

"Lovely room, very comfy bed, loved the balcony overlooking the bridge and the river. We had the breakfast which was good value - nice it was served on a tray, we could take to our room or we decided to have it outside. We'd have liked some seats here and there in the island to sit by the river."
