“It was a pleasure stay at Matra on the Esplanade. Good location and clean room. Nice bedding and bath room. Located at the center of Darwin city, close to the market and beach. Just next door, MUST GO cafe Ally Cats provides gorgeos coffee and bakery.”

“We chose Palmerston area rather than Darwin itself for convenience to where we needed to be. Also it was much more reasonably priced and the reviews of Darwin city hotels were generally pretty low whereas Rydges had rave reviews. We can see why. We have stayed in many hotels both in Oz and overseas and Rydges Palmerston was right up there with the best. Everything was spotless and each detail meticulously cared for. It’s worth visiting for the amazing indigenous artwork on all walls alone....
