They were having fire alarm issues in the parking garage around 5am and they made constant announcements waking us up several times. The man speaking clearly didn't know English very well, so you didn't know what he was saying. Then ended up making an announcement but never hung up, so there was loud static and feedback blasting in our room in the early morning. I had to walk to the front desk to ask them to tell the person making the announcements to hang up the phone. I was not happy at all at this point. One announcement is fine, but three or four? Unacceptable, seriously.

Hadde et kort og flott opphold på dette hotellet i forbindelse med en konferanse i Toronto. Beliggenheten er fantastisk, midt mellom Chinatown og Kensington Market. Store rom og bra service. Det eneste som manglet var et bedre frokosttilbud.

Room was about 85 degrees Fahrenheit (29 Celsius), no external windows, no one answering phone to front desk for help, and the room's temperature controls were broken. Elevator barely worked. I had booked 2 nights in this hellhole but ended up leaving after one and just eating the cost and staying at SoHo instead for my second night. I could barely breathe from the hot, non-circulating air and thus could not sleep. Nightmare stay.

This property is in an excellent location in China Town, downtown Toronto. Walking distance to the main attractions. Hotel is comfy, clean and quiet! Our room overlooked the shopping centre, however this is a plus, no road noise at all. Very quiet shopping centre, barely anything open inside so barely any people! Just keep the curtains closed and job done! It makes it very quiet at night with no road noise etc! Continental breakfast was an added bonus!

There was garbage everywhere outside. The people we delt with one charged us 1 price another charged us another price. You have to pay for parking its not included. As for the room you have thin sheets to cover half of your body. No microwave at all. The best part was it was a good breakfast that was good.....

Great location. First room smokey, easily changed. Unfortunately the next door room kept us up all night, loud, music, shouting. We had to call twice to the desk. No compensation offered for having no sleep.

While the hotel itself is fine, it does not accept any responsibility. In the middle of the night we stayed there, the fire alarm went off on the intercoms in all the rooms. It was quickly clear that it was a false alarm, yet the intercom continued to make horrible noise, transmit conversations and even music for over an hour. This was at 3:30 AM. Shortly after it finally turned off and people were just falling back asleep, the alarm went off again for another hour - same story, false alarm - and then it happened again at 7:30 AM. Basically no one could sleep half the night, and everyone's night and subsequent day was ruined. Obviously false alarms can occur, but our issue was/is with the fact that it was not fixed, and the hotel was unwilling to accept any responsibility and was unwilling to refund the night or even give a discount.

We were given a room that was not well designed, I think they turned closets into a ‘suite’. Couldn’t see the small TV from both beds. The carpet was filthy full of stains, the mattresses curl in the middle they’re so old! Pillows are tiny and empty! No glasses only paper cups! This room is right off the main desk at the lobby! It was ok but Not impressed unfortunately!
