This place was fantastic. It’s right on the beach and the staff are super friendly. La Mata is a great mellow town to make your home base with great restaurants and a couple markets right down the boardwalk. It’s not super fancy, so don’t expect the four seasons, but it’s a great place to stay, highly recommend.

Had a really lovely stay here . The location is absolutely AMAZING and more than made up for anything lacking . Welcome was lovely and room ready before the 4pm check-in . Yes the rooms are a bit dated and perhaps some of the outside and inside need a bit of tlc but they were clean and with all the bits needed to self cater well. We loved being able to sit and look at the sea and hear it as we slept . For what we paid it was an absolute bargain and we will definitely be back .

Great size rooms, hotel is right in the beach. Good air-conditioning and a fantastic shower. Very clean and lovely polite and helpful staff. Very close to shops bars and restaurants. Would definitely look at staying here again.

The hotel room was lovely and big with tea and coffee facilities plus a fridge. BUT you couldn't pull back the curtains otherwise you felt like you we're in a goldfish bowl. The reason is that you're on the ground floor and there's no net curtains, so everyone walking to the pool etc can see right in. So I wouldn't stay here again 😕.

The hotel was it what it promised to be. Although a bit older building, from the inside/interior was clean and fairly modern. Awesome view to the sea and roof terrace was great plus for sun bathing. Easy parking, closed to restaurants. Money value was great!

Great hotel for exploring the Costa Blanca

The hotel was in a great location with easy parking and great facilities nearby. The room was spotless and comfortable and half way through our stay a brand new sofa was installed. Everything needed was provided and the only downside was some work was going on on the drains in front of the hotel so there was some noise occasionally, but this was a minor issue (and not the fault of the hotel). The staff were very friendly and helpful and overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to go back.

It is currently not like the photos, as there are massive building works going on in front of the rooms along the beach. You can still access the beach along a wooden plank bridge. Room is ok but needs modernising/updating and some maintenance. Good location and helpful receptionist.

Property is on the beach. Staff is friendly. The cabinetry inside needs refreshment. The bed is very unacceptable. I preferred to sleep on the sofa.

Staff were brilliant and helpful, rooms were basic but clean, unfortunately the restaurant and bar were closed as it was out of season but it would have been nice to know that beforehand. Perfect location for La Mata only a very short distance to the town with lots of choice for bars and food. Request a sea view early if you want one.

Our stay was good - big room, big bathroom. beach, restaurants, stores nearby. Few things that i didnt like - we came later and had to call spanish phone number to get instructions - they could send it to email. Very bad internet connection constantly interrupted. Construction everywhere around hotel.

The location was perfect for us. The apartment was old. Sofa terrible! There's Some needs to bring apartment to these days. We had some difficulties with kitchen, but we had thm organiced. Thank's for the friendly staff.

Personnel was attentive and courteous. Excellent location. Right on the beach. EXCELLENT Italian restaurant in the premises. Unfortunately. Apartment was poorly maintained. Curtains has holes in the fabric. Probably have same bed/furniture from last century. They really dont want you to watch TV since is probably one bought from the same century the furnitire was bought from. Overall. Is good the beach and restaurants are near since you probably dont want to spend any time inside apartment. Great location. Its a shame cus the building has potential as well as the apartments inside.

Our apartment wasn’t so comfortable. Bedrooms in the basement was weird. Pillow was terrible and there is not real blankets. Sofa was bad. We could hardly sleep in this apartment. Only good thing is the location.

Great location right by the beach! Swimming pool is lovely and good bar and restaurant next door. All staff really friendly and very helpful, got some good recommendations for dinner! Only negative is needs a little attention in the apartment, blackout curtain had holes and the cooker a bit aged.
