Great place if you are not driving

Beautiful room a friendly, helpful staff, but people with cars should avoid or the hotel should tell you about parking when you reserve. The garage is 5 blocks away, but 10 blocks through a tortuous route from the hotel. One missed turn and 30 minutes wasted.

This a prefect weekend getaway hotel with wonderful receptionist, who was extremely helpful and accommodating with our early arrival. The hotel really does have a bohemian Art feel and wonderful location right in the center of Toulouse. We had a delightful room overlooking the river and bridge. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Situated in a perfect location within the Bordeaux golden triangle at a very reasonable rate, the hotel was perfect for our short trip.. we were in the Wagner suite overlooking the main square and we had ample room with most things we needed. The rooms could do with a kettle and fridge.

The hotel location was pretty good. When we checked in, the person at the front desk was super friendly. He knew at least 7 languages (according to him), so we had no issues communicating. The room was small with a comfortable bed. The bathroom had a sliding door that you can see through what's going on in there (not so much privacy). The bathtub had a hand shower and no place to hang it. For my husband who is 6'3"(191cm) it was impossible to use it. Maybe it is European thing.

The good and bad are the same. It's an old building so it has charm - and challenges. Decor could use some fresh paint and repairs. The breakfast was quite good. It would be better if there was a toaster. Staff are very good. Would I come back? No. Am I sorry I stayed there? Again, no. I can do a little better for the price.

The staff was outstanding. The location is great. Can easily access many sites, places to eat and there is a market across the street. The Brasserie at the street level is excellent. Could be a little updated and cleaned but it was all good. The bed was clean and comfortable, the hot water came on right away. It’s a fun, quirky hotel. No appropriate for travelers in a wheelchair - the breakfast is down a flight of stairs. The rooms are upstairs to the elevator. Older building with narrow hallways. There is no on site parking. The Carmes parking structure is a 10 min walk away. Parking is limited on the street. The side streets are SO skinny as well as all parking spots.

Great location, close to the river and Pont Neuf. Good air conditioning and quiet surroundings due to great double glazing. Lovely reception area and friendly staff. The hotel room was quirky. Small, with limited storage space. The fridge was useful. No kettle, but coffee maker available. Two pods free and then pay 0.90€ for each extra pod. No stand-up shower, just a bath and a very strange set-up for a sliding door to the en-suite affording little privacy. WiFi was problematic and I got fed up with switching the router off and on, so just resorted to 5G in the end.

The room apparently was not the smallest - it was so small that on one side of the bed was the window and the other side was the bathroom door. You could barely stand in the room or bathroom. For the price you have a better value at other hotels around the Capitole. I was told they charge due to the view- cannot see the garrone as tall trees and unless you stand at the window there is no view at all.. Some staff were good but there was one with a major attitude
