"We where put in a disability room so all the amenities where low down. The shower was slow and we had no full length mirror. I have stayed at the Marriott before and it was nice but I was disappointed "

"The stay was ok. The bed was terrible it felt like two beds fixed together, one was so worn out it was like sleeping in a bath. The tv wouldn’t work correctly, only half the buttons on the remote worked so we couldn’t retune the set."

"Looks fantastic however, a little bit of style over substance here. Good in the bar was ok but expensive. The room looked great but few plugs and no USB sockets. The bathroom had a shower from 1982 and a shower curtain from the same decade. Nowhere to put any toiletries and no fan in the bathroom either. Bed was comfy though and the room large enough. Car park was like something of an apocalypse with cars abandoned absolutely anywhere there was even half a space. "

"The rooms were ok, it’s run down and also most of the service places were shut! And at £20 per dog for one night it’s ridiculous- I paid almost as much as for the humans. No way it’s justifiable to charge that much for cleaning for one night/ we won’t be back "

"Quick overnight stay. Lovely hotel with spacious rooms. Good breakfast with plenty of options. "

"Hadn't read reviews till the night prior to arrival. Wish we had. Room wasn't clean, carpets badly stained, didn't take shoes off. Food / unknown substance all over the picture on the wall. Sealant hanging off and mouldy at base of shower. Poor maintenance regards filling of holes on the desk. The fridge had been removed from its housing and left on the floor. Mouldy smell in the dowstairs bedroom corridor. Also read that the '4 STAR' hotel only has a 3 star food hygine rating !!!!!. So even though we were booked in for 2 x nights, we decided to cut our losses and didn’t stay at the hotel and went to the Premier Inn instead. Unfortunately as we had booked on a none flexible booking basis we arenot due a refund."

"I enjoyed my stay and found it very relaxing. The only recommendation is to paste a description in the lift to help guests find their way around"

"Room was clean and modern! Breakfast was good quality and hot but less options available. Easy parking, pub next door, Asda 5-10 drive, xscape 10min drive. Excellent value for money"
