The chateau is isolated and doesn’t have a restaurant so you’ll need a car to get to Moulins - ten minute drive and plenty of good restaurants. The chateau’s owners are a young couple restoring the property and the bedrooms and bathrooms have been very well finished. Breakfast served family style and very good. We loved our stay there.

A perfect place to stay 1 night or more...

Perfect idyllic setting just off the N7 road. Welcoming host. Beautifully refurbished room in French style, with large excellent bathroom and shower. Woke in the morning to cows in the field next door. Lovely breakfast set up for us with good coffee, fresh bread and pastries, home made jams etc. We loved it.

Il vaut mieux arriver au Château de Chavannes de jour que de nuit car ce n'est facile à trouver. Accueil chaleureux par les châtelain. Chambre fonctionnelle bonne literie et salle de bains agréable. Petit déjeuner copieux.

Très belle expérience ! Le lieu est agréable, bien entretenu et l’accueil a été particulièrement chaleureux et arrangeant je suis arrivé à 22H30. La Gérante est disponible, professionnel et toujours prêt à donner de bons conseils pour profiter pleinement du séjour. Les prestations étaient conformes à mes attentes. Je recommande sans hésiter à ceux qui souhaitent passer un bon moment et découvrir la région dans de bonnes conditions. Un endroit que je garderai avec plaisir pour un prochain séjour !
