โThis is a stunning property in the old classical sense of dark paneling, interesting furnishings, beautiful bedrooms, brass fixtures, etc. Sleigh beds in the rooms, not just a headboard fastened to the wall! Truly elegant. The Wellington dining room and bar were great. HUGE selection of bourbons and interesting menu. Only faults were a noisy room due to traffic on the street outside...maybe better soundproofing windows in the future. And LIGHT!! The bathroom was very well lit and spacious...
โThe staff was pleasant, very nice, same as other reviews, there was the occasional nightly smoke alarm and fire department visit, the only real drawback is no real amenities kind of a trade-off, I moved to a different hotel for better amenities, but then the place I moved to smelled funny and was much older, lesson learned. I shouldโve just stayed for the final three nights at Echo suites.โ
โThe staff was very helfful. We originally had a room on the 2nd floor, but with no elevator and my daughter in a walking boot and unable to climb stairs, the lady at checkin immediatedly changed our room to aground floor with no fuss.โ
โComfortable bed with soft and firm pillows to choose. Convenient to anything you may need, shopping, grocery , pharmacy, restaurants etc.
Internet service all around Johnson City was a bit sketchy hit or miss. โ
โTHIS WAS A NICE PLACE, JUST NEEDS SOME MAINTENCE WORK, AND CLEANING. POOL WAS OUT OF ORDER. THE RESTAURANT AND STAFF WERE GREAT, FOOD WAS AMAZING. IT WOULDNT TAKE MUCH TO GET THIS TO A 4-5 STAR HOTEL, WITH A GOOD CLEANING AND UPDATINGโ
