The hotel is very central, within walking distance from Trier's main attractions. The room was nice, not super clean but good enough to stay the night. Fair quality for the price
The hotel is great value for money. Some of the rooms appear to be undergoing renovation at the moment. My room overlooked the river, with a nice view of the old Roman bridge.
It's a short but interesting walk to the hauptmarkt, Karl Marx's birthplace and museum, Trier Dom, Porta Nigra, and other sights. I'd happily stay here again.

Great location. Friendly front desk. Very clean bathroom. Recommend that you bring your own soap, shampoo and coffee/tea. No hotel staff onsite from 7:30 pm to 10 am, so keep that in mind. I would stay here again.

The property is in a decent location which is walking distance from the old town. The draw back is that it is located on a busy street which was very loud throughout the night especially with the window open (no ac or fan) on a hot summer night.
Check in was through a tablet (which was a little frustrating) and parking was limited. I ended up parking in a spot that seemed reserved for another business and was grateful I didn't get towed. The facility and room were fine
This was my 3rd time staying at this property and unfortunately will be my last. This used to be a nice hotel that served a delicious breakfast, but this past stay was terrible. We had 2 rooms booked, and both rooms were dirty. Black mold in the showers, cobwebs and dust bunnies in corners. Every time we passed the front desk there was always a sign someone would be right back. A couple times we waited for a few mins to hopefully speak with someone but no luck. Our first morning we were heading down for breakfast, only for another guest to tell us they no longer serve it. I was traveling with my elderly mom and 3 year old niece, so no breakfast meant i had to find an alternate place and spend more money than i would have for the hotel breakfast. That was a major inconvenience. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this hotel. There is a Best Western down the street which will be my new go to hotel for my future Trier visits.
Great location near the Roman bridge, but quite noisy due to being right on the street. Room is OK but a bit on the dirty side overall. No air conditioning so a bit on the hot side. Poor Wi-Fi service had to be rebooted multiple times. Parking area under construction with limited spaces. Concierge at check-in was very helpful in trying to remedy some of these issues.

It was a bit of a scummy hotel, but was in a great location. I wouldn't stay there again.
I needed to check out earlier than initially planned. A few days before arrival, I sent an email asking for a refund, but I received no response. At the hotel, they did not treat my request sincerely.
The rooms were very small and spare, the bed very firm, the tv VERY small, the room had no insulation from noise, and the shower was covered in black mold. The location wasn’t great due to the traffic noise and the surrounding area was very worn. Also am FYI: You’re not able to leave your pets in the hotel while you’re out and about, although I triple-checked the website and reservation information and there was nothing saying so. We ended up leaving a night early. Trier has some pretty spectacular sites, but this definitely dulled the experience.
No breakfast, no hot water at night (and nowhere to complaint as the front desk closes at 20.00). No hot water first part of the morning, no parking spaces available. Do I need to go on....
How has taught me to not believe the pictures. As we drove up to the hotel their were piles of trash everywhere. Old newspapers covered the windows, the sign looked like it was tattered and run down, the entrance was dilapidated.
It was nowhere near the Christmas market. I am still fighting to get my money back.

Unbearable hot, small room. It is truly unbelievable that the hotel has the nerve to rent a room at about 40 c inside temperature, No AC, no blackout curtains, sun shining directly in the room. I left, it was cooler in my car at 30 c. I would never book the Constantine Hotel ever again. They refused to reimburse the second night, even after they knew the room was unlivable
