The room was very nice and spacious with a comfortable bed, great views, deep soaking tub - excellent coffee. The hot tub and pool were both excellent. I had breakfast and the cafe was nice and the food was decent. It was a great location for outdoor activities. Plenty of space on-site to walk my dog.
A wonderful hotel with helpful and lovely staff. The rooms are spacious and clean and the amenities are fantastic. Breakfast buffet on Sunday morning was delicious with plenty of fresh choices and the garden and the grounds provided a wonderful stroll. I will definitely return when chance permits it
We stayed here only for one night on our way to Montreal. We were a family of three and found the beds comfortable. The room clean and the staff very friendly. The hot tub on the roof was nice, especially in the morning but could probably use some maintenance as it's looking a bit dated. Overall had a great stay and would recommend it to others!
A well located property nearby the river, which offers services including breakfast, Spa, lunch/dinner. Room is spacious and clean, with a Spa hot tub. Great and serving staff!
My husband and I stayed at this hotel after several hours of traveling from the east coast, we only stayed for 1 night but wished we stayed longer to take advantage of all the amenities. The property was beautiful and well maintained. The cafe at the spa had delicious sandwiches and a huge selection of craft beers and cocktails. We did have the breakfast at the restaurant that was very satisfying. I would recommend spending a few days at this hotel and the town of Nicolet is so quaint.
The Staff was very nice and attentive to our needs. There was an issue with our room but management handled it appropriately and to our satisfaction. The bicycles need attention as they are not well maintained. The spa area is ok. The restaurant has good food and the service there was excellent. The small cafe was not staffed well and did not offer much beyond coffee and pastries.
I wish I had better planned to have taken better advantage of the amenities.
It is a beautiful looking property, but I was only there for 8 hours. Based on that, the room was very comfortable, although I could not get the desk lamp or coffee machine to work.
I would like to come back and fully appreciate this beautiful space.
This is a cute hotel with nice amenities. My room on this stay however was cold, dark (three pot lights and two bedside lights only) with zero view. The layout was odd as well. Truly, this should not be a room.
Nice place. Somewhat far away from everything. Yey, if you have need to stay close to the College NDA, or police academy, this hotel is your place! I liked that the rooms were hard flooring; they usually place you not in the old building that is on the images, but in the new part behind it. No elevators, be careful if you need them. I would stay again and will stay again there.
The exterior of the building was beautiful, the entrance very grand, the grounds including fountains and gardens in the courtyard. Unfortunately, the interior of the building was maze-like, with long, winding hallways lacking natural light, with dirty looking carpets and a musty smell. Our room was generally clean, but the sheets felt old and pilled, and there were black fluffy bits on them (ew).
The pool room was enjoyed by my daughter, but the liner was plastic and stained yellow in parts.
The best part of our stay was certainly our steak dinner at the restaurant - at $39 dollars a plate it was affordable and delicious.
Charming ambiance, mouthwatering breakfast, attentive and friendly staff, a luxurious hot tub, and a flawlessly maintained room – everything was just perfect!
