"This is a B&B in an apartment building, not an actual hotel, so that was a surprise. It's also several blocks walk away from the centro storico of Tropea, so the surrounding area is full of busy apartments and streets that are distinctly uncharming. "In a18th century building nicely renovated with a gorgeous terrace with a breathtaking ocean view and within walking distance to historic district of Tropea. The only downside is no elevator but it's only one floor. "

"I am giving this hotel 5 stars for the location. Close to the train station, main center and it's a 10 min walk to the beach. Rooms are very basic and dated!. AC was weak but it was enough to keep us cool. Showers are extremely small but doable if you are average height/size. Just avoid the free breakfast - it's not edible. They offer pre ordered plates which are basically day old pastries, cold cuts and meats that look like canned and a coffee machine with bland drink. The female staff here...
