The hotel is a great option even if you're not familiar with the area, as it's easily accessible from all directions. Cons: The hotel itself is dated. Evident, poorly-done repairs. Breakfast was only so-so. The hot water quit working in our shower on our second day there. I had to ask twice for someone to come take a look at it. Even after maintenance "fixed" it, the water was only lukewarm at best. Every step someone took in the room above us could be heard. Pro: The rooms were clean. The location right off of I10 was convenient.
