Great Western Colorado Lodge

"The room was clean, and the staff was all friendly. The bed was fairly comfortable. What frustrated me was the lack of air conditioning. At first, I didn't think there was one. Then I found it in the outer bathroom area, where the sink and clothes rack are. It didn't really cool the room down so well. I don't like it too cold, but we have had some really hot days. The other thing is the walls are "thin". I could hear people talking and such in the rooms next to me. One thing I liked is they serviced the room during my stay. So many hotels don't do this anymore."

"It was cozy for our family of 7. The pool DOES NOT work. The Suana isn't working properly and the hot tub is questionable. The family cottage was nice. It was clean, the beds were comfy. Coffee, microwave, table and chairs were provided. Nice view from #306. Would stay again."

"Rooms are great. Stayed next to river and was colder on the wrap around balcony but I enjoy the mountain view more. Salt water pool was amazing! Beautiful hotel on the water and near the park. Convenient to everything and good restaurant across the street… and coffee! Love this place!"

We were celebrating a milestone anniversary and desired to be in a special and unique setting; our hopes were exceeded! "This is such a beautiful place! The view is incredible - mountains, clouds, river, trees! . We stayed in the Nook, the luxury cabin. The bed was ridiculously comfortable Great bathroom, kitchenette, hot tub outside! Spotless inside and cozy. Every time we contacted staff they answered promptly and were helpful. Seamless check-in Even with a last minute booking. They served a complimentary hearty, yummy breakfast with coffee. You won't be disappointed! And, they take dogs!"
