"Arrived and no one had any idea which tent we were supposed to be in. Originally taken to one that had no made beds, litter, broken chairs and an inflatable dirty lazy spa (advised as a hot tub). Then got told to my relief wasn’t our tent. Instead we were taken to another tent that was transparent in a small field squished in with another 5-6 tents and had a dirty deflated paddling pool in the centre. Again no beds were made so we had to wait outside with our stuff while a young lad threw some...

"We enjoyed our time in Conwy and at the Castle Apartment very much. The facility was clean and stocked with everything we required for our stay of three days. However, the thing we appreciated most about the listing in the end was its location. We were within a short walk of the Castle, the city walls, the waterfront quay, Plas Mawr, the Royal Cambrian Academy and a myriad of restaurants offering a variety of cuisines. "We booked the Royal Victoria for it's closeness to the Snowdon Railway, I don't think it was even 300 yds, excellent. Breakfast was buffet style and I have no complaints about the food, it was brilliant. Unfortunately, our train was only allowed up half way because of storm "Amy", however while on our way home we decided to look around the slate lake and people were queuing for the Summit trip, so, my wife went and booked another trip to the summit, we couldn't see anything when we got to the top because of the mist and so windy, but, we did it :-) We will book the hotel and summit trip next year when the weather isn't going to be an issue!!!"
