We only stayed overnight as we were travelling on to Lefkada the following day but everything was perfect. Nice restful night's sleep after the journey from Yorkshire. "We where a bit disappointed by the breakfast time keeping. The buffet was never fully ready at 7.30 as the hotel stated. We needed to get on with our day and were always waiting for the full item availability. Basically you only started to put out breakfast at 7.30 Otherwise our stay was great"

"Our time at Emelisse in Kefalonia was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the breathtaking views. The pools are absolutely lovely and offer the perfect vantage point to take in the incredible sunsets each evening as you overlook Lefkada in the distance. Dining at the resort was a fantastic experience. The restaurant overlooks the pools and serves delicious food, made even better by the incredibly welcoming and attentive staff. Starting the day with their delicious breakfast buffet while looking out over the water was a daily treat. The absolute highlight of our trip was booking the resort's private boat and captain for a full-day charter—I cannot recommend this enough! If you prefer to stay close to the resort, you have direct access to a gorgeous rock beach, complete with a ladder off the rocks where you can swim straight to a nearby cave. Getting into Fiskardo is a breeze. The hotel offers a convenient free shuttle, or you can take a 12-minute walk along a path that leads right into town. While the property is beautiful for anyone, in my opinion, the serene vibe and amenities make it most suited for adults. I highly recommend Emelisse and would return in a heartbeat!"

"Upon arrival we were greeted with perfect service. Had a late check in and the night shift staff were very helpful and informative. Our room was a separate unit on top of the hill with the most amazing view. The property and area just gives you ultimate peace.. the view and the sunrise just gives the perfect start to your day.. Pool was excellent (missing many tiny tiles though) But the service, sun-beds and sunshine were just top notch . The main lady (think she was manager) was very sweet and helpful , gave us everything we needed . This hotel is the last one on the road, very secluded and peaceful.. i would return again."

"Lovely studio with beautiful view. Room looks to have had a recent upgrade, with a new bathroom and a very comfortable mattress with good quality sheets. Easy walk to 2 taverns or 5 mins drive into Fiskardo. Great pool with newer than hotel photo, cushioned sun loungers."

"Wonderful modern, clean and fresh hotel in beautiful Argostoli. Fantastic location close to harbour and town for all the wonderful restaurants, cafes and shops. Close to churches and lovely bell tower and also amazing and very moving museum about the devastating earthquake and how Argostoli has been rebuilt. Staff at hotel were excellent. We arrived early and they arranged an early check-in for us. Wonderful roof terrace with spectacular views of Argostoli. All this at a very reasonable price. Would definitely return."

"We had an absolutely lovely time at this hotel, the hotel met all our expectations and far more, the staff are fantastic, so polite, happy and cheery, we could not fault our stay here. It was in such a lovely spot. We will definitely be coming back. We nearly opted to go next door to the 5 star hotel but after reading both sets of reviews for both of these hotels we are so glad we chose this one."
