โI love the historical history of this hotel. I know its hard times right now to keep up the property (its large) and too expensive to cool the whole building; but the rooms are very nice and quiet. I would definitely stay here again, its a great value and not a long drive to the Galveston cruise terminal (about an hour). This is now my go to for a night before boarding.โ

Pet friendly was awesome. There was a dog mat with two bowls in the room and a two chew bones were provided. Howโd that for service.
Pool was great, first class work out equipment.

โEverything on my experience is fine with this good price. The only thing that is a little sad is the soundproof is not that good, if youโre scared by passing cars, you will be sad. But itโs very good place to stay for good price and experience.โ
