"The location of this hotel is quite a bit outside of the village, but the walk into town along the lake is so pleasant, it actually was a plus. The town was surprisingly charming and so much more interesting than we were led to believe. (We almost prefer it over Lindau for its charm.)The cobblestoned streets, the lake promenade with several waterside restaurants and cafes, the wineries, the upper town and lower town were fantastic. The hotel staff was extremely positive and helpful and polite....

"Only overnight on road trip. Hotel is in a residential section, no other evident hotels nearby. Rooms were clean, reception friendly, must be popular as it was full the night we stayed. For us it represented good value, convenience access Lake Constance, we did not have their breakfast, as we were on the move fairly early."

"Such a beautiful hotel with lovely reception staff. We booked a junior suite which had a great view of the gardens and lake. Breakfast was amazing with so much choice. Comfortable large bed. Great food in the restaurant in the evening. Very close to the ferry and lots of restaurants. 10 minute walk to the train station. Lots of options for walks along the lake to other towns and can get the bus or train back. Would definitely recommend staying in Uberlingen and this lovely hotel. "
