"It was lovely to have 5 steps to the sunbed and 5 to the pool. A very relaxing place. We loved Melissa and that fact it was a family run place. Rooms were bright and airy with hand painted designs, which was a nice touch. The floral swing is a nice touch that mum thought of and the pool area is all very lovely. Melissa was incredibly helpful with suggestions on where to go and what to do. And she was always interested to hear what we had done and where we had been (for future reference). We would happily stay another time, but would absolutely recommend it to others. Thanks Melissa. Xx"

"Don’t miss out on this adorable boutique hotel. The grounds are a lush beautiful landscaped garden filled with birds, an adorable pool and a trail leading you to the Italian Restaurant on site. We were surprised to find some of the best Italian food we have ever had in Costa Rica! Make sure to plan to eat at the restaurant during your stay. Convenient location heart markets, beaches, shops, etc, "

"Staff was friendly. Location was great. Staff was very helpful in making local recommendations. Clean with good privacy and a decent bed which in my experience was hard to find in CR. Proximity to beach and the pool was great to have. We had limited time but Uvita seemed like a great town. "
