"the hotel was about a 8/10 but the service was excellent and the balcony view and space really made the stay. on the Monday night the restaurant was closed so we got ham, cheese, wine, bread etc., from a supermarket and ate al fresco on the balcony, which was wonderful The following evening we ate in the restaurant which was great and they catered for my gluten free requirement. "Varese was a nice area to stay in after a long overnight flight , away from the city and in the rolling hills On Lake Varese. We drove 10 min to rent bikes and rode along the lake side path with our kids. The views were quite beautiful. Also had a wonderful dinner at a local restaurant.
