"Attractive hotel and garden. Excellent breakfast choice and efficient and friendly breakfast staff. I enjoyed the pool in the spa area and my husband loved the private hot tub on our patio. Our maid/housekeeping attendant was called Navjot, special mention for her efficient and excellent service, she made our stay very comfortable. Nice touch with arrangement of towels etc. Only unfortunate aspect is noise from private events on Fri and Sat in one or two of the ground floor rooms, the music did stop punctually at 11pm or 12mn as previously announced."

"This hotel is better than the pictures suggest, we stayed 5 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. The whole hotel was spotlessly clean, our bedroom was massive and air-conditioned. The Swimming pool was heated to about 30° and beautiful to swim in. The food, fantastic and the breakfast perfect. Absolutely loved everything about it. If I was to be very picky it would be to say you could hear the background music playing in the bar below but was only quiet. Not an issue for me but my partner is a light sleeper. We will definitely be back. Absolute hidden gem."

"Be aware that although the hotel is walking distance to the bus terminal, it is on a hill, so you need to be reasonably fit if walking up and down. The hotel is close to the harbour and castle. The island bus service is very good for getting around the island and sight seeing. Staff are very helpful and friendly."

"The staff were friendly and helpful, eager to assist with a few small requests I had. I found it be peaceful, I was at the rear of the property, and particularly liked the second door into the room, which I'm shielded me from any hallway activity. Pool was lovely, and breakfast excellent. Friday, live music :-)"

"Brilliant location. 2 minutes to the heart of St Peter Port and 5 minutes to the Herm Ferry, 10 minutes to the bus station. Wonderful restaurants around. Staff were really helpful and lovely. We lost a key late at night and it was sorted with a smile. Breakfast ladies were fabulous. Hotel was clean (being cleaned all the time), breakfast was very nice and rooms were clean and spacious. We benefited from gorgeous weather , so the outside bar area was lively and fun. Highly recommend."

"Staff very welcoming and helpful - responded swiftly and accurately to everything asked, but the property is tired and requires extensive maintenance. Pool been shut for 2 years and Heath Spa now shut as well. Breakfast was really quite good. Location suited us as was a short walk to event we were attending nearby."
