"Great location by the train station to Venice! The check in was seamless, the staff was very friendly, the room was surprisingly spacious, and the breakfast was very good. Overall this was a good experience for a quick stay to visit Venice, minutes from Marco Polo airport"
"This property is in a great location. With great locations can come noise! So my room was noisy well into the night. Rooms are dated, but adequate. I was alone, so my room was useful for that reason, as I had a single room. Staff was very helpful. Breakfast was adequate. Overall, the location is what makes this hotel great."
"Just to be extra clear, this is an old fashioned pensione. There is no TV, no mini fridge, no ice machine, and no elevator. If you can't deal with that, seek elsewhere. The room was big enough, the bathroom was spacious, and the AC worked, which was fortunate because we had a late May heatwave during our visit. The staff is very helpful. If you arrive early, or checkout time is well before the train or plane, you can leave your suitcases in the lobby. The breakfast buffet is really good. Real plates and utensils. Good variety and suitable choices if you are vegetarian like I am."
"Pros: the staff were very helpful and professional, rooms were clean and safe, the hotel is close to the water boats that was a plus so you can move and visit different places around Venice for cheap, breakfast was great, we pay for it but it was great to start with a great breakfast before leaving for tours around Venice.
Cons: only one good option for good restaurant, the one inside the hotel. Other restaurants around no good ones, the rooms in the hotel are very small, we have a queen plus a twin size bed and we barely have extra room for walking. Only one drawer for clothes, we had to choose one change of clothes every day and kept the rest in our suitcase because there was no room for it in the room."
"Location was great. The apartment was spacious but could have used some sprucing up in the living room - an end table, pictures on the wall. Just felt bare but not a major deal. There was construction going on outside our annex and they started early in the morning. By early I mean 6 or 6:30 am."
"Very interesting place - so great to be able to sit outside!
The main staff person at breakfast was grumpy and almost rude. Such a contrast to the front desk staff who were lovely.
We had issues with the shower drain g and the drain was disgustingly clogged with hair :(. Ewwww.
Fantastic location!!!
A bit expensive for what we got, however the location was wonderful."
"The hotel is new and beautifully done. It’s in a nice location away from the crowds in San Marco Piazza. The customer service at the hotel was poor, they didn’t care. We were jet lagged and overslept one of the days when our alarm did not go off. We missed breakfast and they even refused to give us a cup of coffee. They also charge 15 Euros for a water shuttle which is crazy since everyone takes the shuttle since that’s the only way to get to the hotel. Overall, disappointed by the poor customer service at the hotel."
