"Although not easy to find initially - as there is no big sign over the door, the manager came out to meet us. He couldn't have been more accommodating and helpful during our stay. This small hotel has a wonderful, full kitchen, a dining room, laundry room and other great facilities to make your trip easy and enjoyable. Another plus is that that it is a great location - a bus direct from the airport makes it's first stop across the road, buses to Grenada central stop outside too and as parking...

"Good hotel in a lovely location up a hill through olive groves. Great terrace outside the bar with a view of the hills. Good restaurant with a decent choice of meals and wines. The only downside is that while the staff were able to supply a password for the bar wi-fi, they didn't seem to know the password for the wi-fi networks covering the accommodation buildings (and my Spanish wasn't good enough to enquire further)."

This hotel’s bathroom was so clean and well put together that I actually could not leave without taking a picture of it. The staff at Hotel Xauen was courteous and professional. "Lovely hotel and a good location Friendly staff and the areas and room were clean and it was very quiet The room was nice with aircon, the bathroom was spacious and had a lovely overhead shower but with only opaque glass separating it from the room, it may not be the choice with overly private couples….it wasn’t a problem for us but just wanted to put it out there The parking is offsite about a 10 minute walk away which is a public under cover car park but they have a deal that you only pay their rates not the car park rates We did have an issue in that the ticket they gave didn’t work so we ended up having to pay full price to get out of the car park but the hotel refunded us without any problem"

"A wonderful place to stay in an amazing place. The view out our hotel window alone was worth the price - which was very reasonable and breakfast was included! Our interest was a days bike ride on the Via Verde del Aciete and this place proved to be a perfect base for that. The bike rental place that the hotel works with is excellent."
