"We had no view of the beach, our stay was mostly pleasant but the noise at night was distracting. Loud doors slamming and dogs barking due to the loud sudden noises of how heavy the doors close."

Staff very friendly and helpful, only minor issue is that property is not wheelchair accessible, althought they are ramps getting into main entrance involves getting up quite a big step, otherwise very nice hotel "

"Great views from the bedroom towards the sea (apart from the infamous Shanklin lift shaft). Sun rise while lying in bed was fantastic to see. Staff were great and the food was good. Although some areas were a little worn and could do with a bit of TLC, it was very clean and tidy."

"We had an excellent stay at St Maur. The rooms are large spotlessly clean with fantastic ensuite facilties and a balcony with outstanding views. Parking is avaliable and hotel ideally situated for walking to the Botanic Gardens and Steephill Cove. The Owner and staff are amazing. Nothing is too much trouble. Such a friendly homely atmosphere."
