"We had a lovely stay and the staff were very helpful and changed our room when they could for the last night. We stayed in room 8 which is a premium room with a view. Unfortunately it is on the top floor with no air conditioning. Because of the heat wave our room was over 30c most of the time, even the floor boards were hot. The room was spacious and well furnished although too many blankets and cushions for the summer. Excellent breakfast with a choice of cooked food which was appreciated....

"Disappointed that the listing did not make clear the room was actually in a retirement home with everything that goes with that. No air con which was a big big negative in the 35 degree heat. Gates locked at 10, little or no English spoken. Good value but wouldn’t choose to stay there again."
