The Westfjords of Iceland is a large peninsula in northwestern Iceland. It has a mountainous coastline, heavily indented by dozens of fjords surrounded by steep hills. These fjords make roads circuitous and difficult to drive. The mountain scenery is rugged but specular.

Arrived very jet lagged with no one to check in, no help. Room had sand and hairs on bed. Small. Very small town and long drive to the cliffs. Shortened my stay (already too long) and no refund. Amazing, remote location. Cabin was tiny and rustic. Loved the beautiful area and empty beach. Felt a little like camping but worth it for unique experience.
