Victoria Quarter is comprised of two main arcades, County Arcade and Queen Victoria Street. The shopping precinct covers three city blocks. See the façade of the old Empire Palace Theater, which was demolished in the 1960s. Enter the arched entryway and gaze up to see the stunning decorations. Rich marble fittings offset gilded mosaics. A colored-glass roof filters the light pouring into Queen Victoria Street.

If you are here to shop, you’ll be spoiled with the selection of luxury retail stores and style leaders. The arcade is home to several stores making their first debuts out of London. You can pick up designer clothing items, exciting new gifts, homewares and jewelry.

The arcade has six different cafés and restaurants, including an espresso bar, a juice bar and a selection of food outlets serving take-out lunches. Have a coffee or a snack and people-watch from the café’s seating. Victoria Quarter is a popular shopping destination for visitors and locals alike.

Victoria Quarter is situated in central Leeds. The Victorian-era shopping arcade is open daily until the evening however, some stores may have differing opening hours. It is free to enter and parking lots are available in the surrounding streets. Leeds Railway Station is just over 10-minutes’ walk away. The arcade is also close by Leeds’ fascinating heritage district, which features the magnificent Victorian architecture of Leeds Town Hall, Leeds Art Gallery and Leeds City Museum.
