"The actual location and property is 10/10. I love the peace and quiet and non-touristy vibe of the place. Rooms were huge and airy and have that amazing old colonial architectural feel to it. My only issue is that the breakfast sucks big time. No local breakfast was available. Being away from the restaurant and options - I was forced to eat dry bread and halved cook plantain and eggs. "La Sagesse is the place to come if you want an enjoyable, peaceful, relaxing getaway. It's like an oasis. Every single member of the staff is very attentive to your needs/requests as well as genuinely caring. The beach is literally steps from your room. The food is fresh and tasty. If you want to go into St. George's, the bus ride is scenic and inexpensive - or the staff can arrange other transportation. I always thoroughly enjoy my stay at La Sagesse and highly, highly recommend it."
