"I was hesitant to stay at an all-inclusive resort, but was pleasantly surprised. The food was very tasty and the pool drink staff were very attentive. For the most part kids stayed in the kid pool so the adult pool was very relaxing. My room was modern and very clean. My only complaint is that a lot of the noise from foot traffic kept me awake a couple of nights"

"Love the casual vibe at the Occidental. Not too big, lovely walkable/swimmable beach, very clean, pleasant staff. One complaint - if the rule is towels on unoccupied chairs to be removed after one hour, why is this not enforced? It’s a big problem at the pool, not so much on the beach. "

"Our stay was fantastic and went by way too quickly. The staff were beyond amazing. The best thing about paradise village is the beach. So close to the rooms! Food was great and reasonable. Had an issue with room service our first night but overall it was a great trip."
