A good apartment for family

The service of the apartment is very good. The staffs are very friendly in providing consultancy and help. The kitchen facility is sufficient for doing self-cooking during a period of time. You could get all the ingredients from a supermarket within a 2-minute walking distance. The bus stop 12 of the hop-on-hop-off bus [redline] is about 15 minutes by foot. One improvement suggestion is that the pillows were too soft for us. It will be better if there are some alternative choices provided.

A very DISAPPOINTING stay at Gal Apartments

The state of our apartment (Superior Studio) was bad. Main bed (built-in under kitchen’s floor) and pillows were worn out and uncomfortable (hard to fall asleep), sofa bed was stained and as hard as stone, furniture was desperately old, floor and walls were damaged and had many black marks on them, fridge was noisy (woke us up at night), bathroom faucet was rusty, shower was moldy around the corners with very low water pressure and sound insulation was almost inexistent. Although we kept the manager updated about our situation, we were not offered any alternative as all apartments were booked out. All in all, we got low value for money, in total contrast with the property’s rating (reason why we booked here) and what you can get elsewhere at a similar price range. Manager agreed to reimburse us 1 night at the end of our stay, so thumbs up to that nevertheless!

Understand before you book!

Those who wish to book this facility should know the following: There is little or no front desk help; the apartment office which is shared by a medical clinic reception is closed most of the time. They hand you the key and disappear. The staff at the medical facility may take pity on you and help (they called a cab for us). The bed is close to the floor; anyone having difficulty getting up from the floor level will find it difficult to get up from the bed. There was no room service even though we stayed for five nights. Subtle hints suggest that you clean the apartment before you check-out! (e.g., take the garbage out!). You get excellent welcome message and thank you message but expect no service. On the positive side, the center is a 15-20 minutes walk. There are restaurants nearby, both for breakfast and dinner. The neighborhood is mostly residential, and deserted in the night. We felt safe, however.

Very friendly staff. Disappointed with our apartment - no dishwasher, no washing machine. Extremely loud construction starting at 7 am right next door that was impossible to sleep through.

Es un apartamento, no un hotel pero cuenta con elevador y el check in y check out fue super agil a pasar que llegamos fuera de horario y fin de semana. Muy limpio y muy bien ubicado. Volveria.

Convinent, Clean, Spacious apts, excellent stay.

We had an excellent stay at GAL Apartments. We rented a 2 bed room which was very spacious, clean including a separate kitchen and living and dining room area. The staff were very responsive. We really appreciated all of the information sheets in the apartment including info that the tap water is drinkable and exceptional. The included washer (no machine dryer but drying rack provided is very sufficient) made it easy to pack less stuff. The location is extremely convenient to 2 metro/subway stops (different lines) and there are 2 grocery stores close by (BILLA and Hofer). Wifi is strong.

El apartamento tiene una localización cercana al centro neurálgico de Viene y a 250 metros de una boca de metro.El apartamento esta muy limpio y tiene todo lo necesario. El check.in es excepcional, ya que es automático, así como la atención en las horas en las que hay gente en la recepción. En definitiva, totalmente recomendable.

Location: just a few min walk from Nestroyplatz station, also close to two other stations along 2 different lines. Quiet, safe neighbourhood. Hotel: easy communication, thorough introduction to the area and activities we hadn’t previously considered. Check in seamless. Key access to most areas making you feel really safe too! Room: spacious and as described. Great bed, ample cupboard space, and a well equipped small kitchen. Good central heating! The owner has thought of everything!
