The large lobby with tables that could be used for work planning sessions was good. The front desk staff were very well mannered and used to communicating in English, so it was easy to get assistance.

This is a great place to stay. My room was very clean, spacious, and quiet. The hotel itself has a nice aesthetic with it's decor, natural lighting, and well-tended landscaping. It's located on a side street making it quieter. The staff were exceptional - always polite, professional, helpful, and pleasant. There could have been better/more amenities in the provided. The only complaint was that the lobby TV was always on, usually to CNN. I had to ask them to turn down the volume during breakfast.

It had a lovely lobby but no elevator to 3rd floor which didn’t bother me but could bother others. The room was clean and comfortable-breakfast was basic but good

Quaint French influenced style small hotel I've would expect up in the central highlands of Vietnam. But here in the city, lovely. Would highly recommend.

This is a very cozy property with old feels to it. My room was clean but the wifi is slow, electricity keeps on shutting off the circuit breaker and was told to get up and replace the key card to reset the circuit breaker. Very inconvenient. Place also required to remove our shoes and the wood floor is so slippery when walking on it with sock on. it is annoying when having to remove our shoes and carry them to the room. other than that it is decent place to stay but a little annoying with taking off the shoes thingy.

Great stay
Room was nice and spacious. Really close to the Vientiane night market, walking distance. Also the morning market, Temples, Catholic church, and variety of restaurants. Front desk was very helpful and nice. Bed was okay, still comfy. Environment was safe.Only caution is the floor is a little slippery especially with socks. My advice to you is to be sober going up the stairs. Other than that. This hotel was great.

Very pleasant place to stay
First of all I'll say all the good things about the hotel. The staff couldn't have been more attentive and helpful. The front desk staff helped us to find the night market, told us where to get SIM cards, and booked a bus for us to Vang Vieng. They were always very friendly. As to the room, it was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The wooden floors were beautifully polished. The artwork and decor of the hotel is tasteful. The shower worked well and so did the WiFi. The location is great. You can stroll along the Mekong River or go to the night market. You can walk or take a tuk-tuk up to their Arch of Triumph (Patuxai) very easily. As to the bad things - the omelet was miniscule. The staff forgot to get us more coffee after we'd asked them. They pointed us toward the wrong night market. The safe didn't work. Overall - really lovely place to stay. Much more comfortable than a backpacker's hostel. Would recommend it to anyone.

Great value for money
Great value-for-money, very conveniently located for access to a variety of food places. Room and general access areas are clean. Shoes off policy on the stairs, and please note access to guest rooms are only via stairs.

Clean and beautiful, excellent location
Nice hotel near everything you would ever need. Rooms were clean although like much of SE Asia they are in need of mild and mildew control. Staff were friendly wth limited English. A few times I had to ask for attention as they looked at their phones instead of the customer in the lobby.

Great value!
For a budget inn, this is one of the best. Nicely finished, and an easy walk to all the coffee shops and amenities, makes the lower room rates even better.

Upon checkin the hotel staff gave us a wrong room, we booked a room with two bed and when we arrived were given room with one bed and after taking with a manager we were given the correct room for the second night on. Overall our stay was good but if you want two beds I’d recommend contacting the property prior to your stay to confirm.

Clean hotel in an excellent location
Great location and clean room. Shower took ages to drain though which left the bathroom in 2 inches of water. Breakfast was very basic. Nice staff.

Central hotel, ok if you don’t mind poor plumbing
Pros: location, service, and nice wood floors, decent breakfast (made to order), very helpful staff Cons: shower doesn’t drain well, mold in shower. I simply don’t like these Chinese capsule shower units. Wifi spotty.

Room was decent size with aircon, tiny balcony. Area not very quiet (but better than some), lots of noise transference in the corridors and from other rooms so not easy to sleep. Staff didn't speak good English and weren't able to help much with advice on how to get places - very helpful man in the main tourist office though. The breakfast was truly, truly dire (lukewarm tea, tasteless eggs and bread, poor service) and they "forgot" to tell me that it wasn't included in the room rate so they charged me an obscene amount of money for it. They also forgot my wake-up call on the final day for my early flight. Generally not good - I recommend pay a bit less and stay in a proper backpacker place for help and advice with travel arrangements and stuff, or pay a bit more and stay in a nice hotel.
