โWe came across this place purely by chance, as we had a day in hand while driving across the state and were simply looking for somewhere with an outdoor pool for some R&R. What a find, and rather better than some random Hampton Inn!!!
It's a beautiful place and even us jaded Brits were impressed with the historic house, the decor and the setting. The hosts were attentive and friendly but, with no other guests there, we really felt we had the place to ourselves. Would highly recommend.โ
โCarlisle House is beautiful and preserving of the past. Quaint, quiet, and polished. Checking in and out was a breeze. The staff were very helpful and polite. I would stay again! โ

โWe just needed a comfortable place after a long dayโs drive, and this hotel was perfect. We also enjoyed walking around Carlisle as we got something to eat close by. The front desk person was friendly and welcoming. Our room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again. :-)โ
โElva at the front desk was wonderful and very kind. She went above and beyond to make our stay good. She also helped a friend of ours with the same kindness. Also the young man in the breakfast room was great, but I don't know his name. We will stay there again in the future.โ
