"Room was uncomfortably hot. Air con terminal stopped pumping out cold air about 3am and the room became unbearably hot. There was nobody to be found in the hotel and my family of four had to stand outside multiple times in the dark to get some air. We managed to get the kids back to sleep after several hours by placing wet towels on their back. We wanted to complain at check out but there was still nobody to be seen!! "The location is beautiful and the property in itself is nice especially the rooms area. For a 4 star property it lacked basics. As seen in brochure and all photos of the property they give prominence to the pool, but visiting the place in the last week of June and they tell you the pool is not in use, does not look nice at all. "L'Abete is a lovely, quiet place. Manager Marco was superb, really a fine, nice person who make me feel welcome and who wanted to be as helpful as he could. I was without a car, and L'Abete is a quarter to a half mile away from the nearest good restaurants and sites. But it was a nice stay; and even better if you want some quiet rest time!"
