The room was great. I was on the 7th floor with an ocean view. Only negative is that there is only one elevator that doesn’t fit many people.

I would definitely book this location again. Really close to the beach, available luggage carriers, and someone assisting with opening the door for us as we brought our belongings in for the stay.

It's important to remember that you get what you pay for. If you pay $80 for a kitchenette suite that is directly on the beach, you can't complain about the quality of the paint job. Also the beds were surprisingly comfortable. Like so much better than I was expecting.

Good place for a short trip for couples or small groups of friends. Wouldn’t be expecting the cleanest or fanciest place but definitely gives you somewhere to lay your head for the night and shower off after the beach. Huge perk was being right on the beach. Air conditioning worked well. Another perk is the 11 AM checkout which gives you an extra hour to get your life together before leaving. Locks worked perfectly on the door and sliding door. Bathroom was awkward, and be prepared to bring your own body wash/shampoo or buy it. Staff was nice upon checkin though we showed up in the middle of the night. When we checked out we weren’t able to find staff for 15 minutes so just left. Not the worst place we’ve stayed in by far, just nothing to write home about.

Staff were very nice. Does need a little updating. Some of the paint peeling in the room/bathroom. Would have liked to had towels replaced. We did go down to the desk and they gave us new ones. They do not come in your room to do any cleaning, which I’m fine with but others may not be. Overall it was nice and I would stay again.

We checked in on 13 June 2026. I went up to the room to drop our stuff off and there was missing ceiling tiles, the balcony railing was very loose to the point. I wouldn’t let my kids out there, there was hair all in the bathtub, there was sand all over the couch, if you just need somewhere to and I guess it’s fine but it was not up to par for me. I asked for a refund and the staff was super helpful and gave me a refund.

The view and location were absolutely amazing, but that is really the best thing about the place. The sheets were clean, the couch was scratched to hell and smelled like cat piss, the elevator was scary, as were the stairs. The room was not clean, though the toilet and sink were. The railing on the balcony was not secure, but the plastic chairs were new, no bugs. It was about what I expected for the cheapest hotel on a busy weekend, on a beach, we had decided last minute to hit Virginia Beach, so I did not have the ability to be picky. The staff were kind, other than check in and out I didn’t have any dealings with them, while I didn’t use the pool it looked clean. I would not stay here again be choice, but I wouldn’t refuse if it was all that was available.

I love the size of the room and the ocean view. I have stayed there before, and will again. It could use some cosmetic upgrades. The room needs a higher sitting toilet. The bathroom has an awkward angle and the very low toilet impedes mobility.

The location of the hotel was wonderful and was definitely the best part of our stay. Unfortunately, everything else was very disappointing. Let's start with the parking—it was terrible and very inconvenient. The room was not properly cleaned upon arrival. The baseboards were covered in dirt, there were watermelon seeds on the floor, the couch was dirty, the mirror had smudges, and there was hair on the bathroom floor. The bed sheets also appeared dirty, which was unacceptable. The bathroom was poorly designed. The toilet was positioned awkwardly and was unusually low to the floor, making it uncomfortable to use. Housekeeping did not service the room during our stay. When I asked a housekeeper for clean towels, I was told they didn't have enough available. There were also several maintenance issues. The door latch was not properly secured—it appeared to be held together with putty instead of screws. The stair steps were uneven, creating a potential safety hazard, and the elevator was extremely slow. Overall, while the hotel's location was excellent, the cleanliness, maintenance, housekeeping, and overall guest experience fell far below expectations. I would not stay here again or recommend this hotel unless significant improvements are made.

Was a quick trip over night. Room set up was good, it has been well used however it accomplishes what my task was. Desk person was extremely nice and friendly. Was a good stay.
