I was surprised that there were no USB ports for phone chargers, etc. The outlet in the bathroom didn’t work, and the under sink light didn’t work. The coffee pot was not clean. The staff was very cordial and helpful. And the room, lobby and property was clean and neat. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

The room I was in had bedbugs. I woke up with a few marks on my arm but not thinking too much into it as they look similar to mosquito bites. It wasn’t until I returned home and had a physician look at all the marks on my arm who said they were classic bed bug marks. I called the front desk and the only thing said was oh sorry about that I’ll tell the manager. Nothing else offered. Thankfully my son was not affected and we did not bring them home. I can’t believe we were exposed to bedbugs and the nonchalant attitude that was taken.

I had a superior stay from the check in to the room to check out . Everything was perfect. I loved the fire pit as it was extremely windy . I also loved the hot tub that was 21and over area . My next visit to Virginia Beach next year . I will definitely be booking my stay here

I hate that this resort, and a couple other HGVC properties on VA Beach, charge a "resort fee" that covers parking, pool, wifi, etc. Some of those items (pool, wifi) are expected to be included. I understand that Ocean Beach Club needs to charge for parking, as the parking is a third party lot, but they just started tacking on fees when Diamond Resorts bought out the property and Hilton is still running with it.

We were not checked in until almost an hour after the real check in time which was 4:00 pm. They also tried to blame Expedia for our experience which was supposed to have been a city block view and end up being an alley view. We also left after one day because they weren’t able to switch our rooms because they were sold out. I have pictures of our city block view from balcony which we couldn’t enjoy because of the hotel’s balcony was facing the hotel mechanics so it was very noisy. This was our 30th anniversary and it was a terrible experience and was ruined.

Let me start with the woman who checked us in because she was an absolute doll. She made everything very easy, answered all of my questions, and explained everything very clearly. The actual room itself was amazing for the price, this was our first time booking anything bigger than a room so we were extremely pleased with the space. There is no parking, but they allow you to leave your car parked while you check in and take your belongings up. Our room was listed as an balcony with ocean view, however it was located on the side of the building with a very slim ocean view which was super misleading and incredibly disappointing. Our overall experience was good, and given the balcony we were hoping for, we would stay again.
