Top W. B. Strong Memorial Railroad Park Hotel Reviews
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Emporia
8/10 Good
"Didnt check out menu. Place felt safe. Property surrounded by restaurants which was nice. Room was clean. Staff was ornery. Clearly didn't want to be there."
"The staff were kind and friendly. Our room was clean, breakfast was great, plenty of parking. The building and rooms themselves felt run down. The walls were thin and we could hear everything in the hallway. "
"When checking in, the woman at the desk was not at all inviting. Maybe said one word to me and seemed annoyed that I was there. The bathroom in the room was disgustingly dirty and you could tell that the shower/tub had not been cleaned in a long while. There was grime and hair from a previous guest in there. There was also already trash in the trash can when we walked in the room. Even for the affordable price, I would not recommend this hotel. "
"Hotel in a nice, quiet area, but nearby to plenty of Emporia’s amenities- but you’ll want to drive. Not much walkable except new car dealers. Dog friendly with “pet rooms” situated close to door to outside walk area, seating, shade and doggy-doo bags/disposal. Rooms were clean and up-to-date. Front staff helpful and polite. "
