Facing the New Jersey State House, the WWII Memorial stands out as a tribute to the military victory of the United States. It features a cupola surrounded by a circular frame made up of black-and-white photos from World War II. At the core of this commemorative work of art stands an elegant dome containing a statue of Lady Victory, with a sword in one hand and the Wreath of Peace in the other. Encircling the war tribute are numerous flags, while crushed beneath Victory’s foot is the Nazi flag. Study the adjacent statue of a soldier dressed for battle and armed with a rifle.

View the WWII Memorial for free it is open to the public at all times. The monument is in the Downtown area a little west of the center of Trenton. It is close to the Delaware River and is served by several bus stops.
