"We stay here with friends every year. Because of the storm in Kauai, my friends and I chose to leave and come to Maui. It was all very last minute. We were able to get a beautiful garden view room and the price was very reasonable. We ate at the restaurant twice and enjoyed the sunset views down at the beach. The weather was hot and muggy, which limited what us old ladies could get out and do, but enjoyed our time never the less."

"The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful, the hotel has well maintained common areas, nice pool, sun beds and nice view of the ocean. The rooms are very outdated, the pillows are not as comfortable and the bathroom is very small. Not bad for one night."

"The property is beautiful. It is across the street and 1/2 blk from the beach.close to shops and places to eat. The rooms were fine and clean. Loved the pools and pool towels were provided. There was a nice cafe at the entrance that had great breakfasts. (Lunch too at cafe and pool bar had evening meals). Staff was very helpful. Our flight back to mainland was in evening and we were able to use the pool all day after checking out & there was a hospitality room we could use to shower before flight. All in all we had a great time there"

"We booked last minute, needed something close to the airport. It's outdated, could use new carpet, but it was comfortable and clean. You can walk outside and sit on the beach. Staff were very friendly."

"Although one of the older resorts on Kannapali, the property was well maintained, the staff was excellent other than the "Concierge", who after booking a catamaran tour for my wife and I, immediately shoved a screen in front of us requesting a large tip for 10 minutes work. It was insulting."
