This was the second time we've stayed at this motel. Its an older building but pretty clean other than the inside of the room's exit door around the door knob, and also the bath faucet control knob. The bed is a little hard but the sheets were clean and comfortable. The location is great, about an hour from Charleston and Savannah. They don't charge a pet fee and the price cant be beat. We did see one roach bug in the room at the end of our 2 night stay.

This was probably the cleanest looking budget motel I have seen. It is kept up without dinginess or dirt or wear, It was right off the highway exit and had parking in front of the room. Bed was comfortable enough but pillows were small and not to my comfort. Unfortunately there were a couple of cockroaches in the room when we woke up. This was disturbing but because of the cleanliness and upkeep of the room and hotel area I have to think that they will be on top of this pest control problem. I don't know if I would stay there again without taking proper precautions.

After looking completely through the room the sinks were rusty and old. The shower was rusty and old. The microwave was old. Everything was extremely old and dirty and no way to get it clean. Anything you used you felt like it was dirty even though some of it was wrapped in plastic but you still weren't sure The soap was a lot of little packages so small they slipped out of your hand and when you fell in the shower you definitely were going to bump your head picking it up. I laughed because I thought my shower at home was small. Would not recommend this property although there was some nice ones across the street that a lot of the armed forces were staying at. Would recommend them!

The guy at the front desk was very nice. When we went to our room neither the refrigerator or the air conditioner were working. He changed our room and the refrigerator worked, the air conditioner worked for a while then it didn’t, there was some type of dirty clothing item at the top of one bed and when we fluffed the pillow on the other bed a 3” long insect with legs the length of it came out , ran across the bed and out onto the floor. We packed up everything and put it back in the car. It is more like a truck stop so I do not advise staying here.

Very nice staff, fast and easy check-in. I love that I could park my car right in front of my room so I didn't have to haul everything. The room was clean, except for the A/C filters, which were wearing a blanket. I cleaned them myself. Beds are comfy, it was nice to have a fridge and microwave, TV was old but functional, and I liked the vinyl plank floors instead of carpet. The building and grounds are kept up and look nice. I have this place on my list of great overnight stops for future travel!
