"The Hotel was very relaxed - I felt really comfortable and safe staying as a single lady - the staff were always to hand if I needed anything.
I will be staying again next year or sooner.
Thank you Fairhaven Hotel."
"Good sized bedroom and ensuite shower always hot and powerful.
Lift to all floors which is useful with luggage..
Breakfast available, but we didn't try it.
Hotel in a good location if you don't mind a walk through the lovely, well maintained gardens.
Hotel does need updating, but that wouldn't stop us staying there again."
"Loved the hotel, great value for money. I went for the cheapest room and it didn't feel like you were having a cosy room. Loved that there was a bath and shower. Felt great for adults but also child friendly, which is great when you like an adults hotel but are traveling with a child. Pool was lovely, views are great, felt like you were in the South of France. The only let down for me was the food. Breakfast was great. However we stayed on a Sunday and both restaurants had a Sunday roast menu. Which meant you had to go out for the evening if you didn't want more roast. The roast was not great. Veg came out cold and then the fresh were just not good. It felt like a cheap roast but wasn't cheap. Also who really wants roast in the summer. Some of the staff in the restaurant weren't the friendliest.
All in all a great hotel."
"Staff were very helpful and friendly, pool was on the small size with a section roped off for swimming lessons but clean. Room was very large however the sofa which doubles as a bed was disgusting with crumbs and Lego inside. The walls also had multiple dirty marks on. There wasn’t a good selection of toiletries which for a spa hotel was disappointing. Breakfast was good with a nice selection on offer. I would stay again"
"For the price paid, there are no complaints. But my goodness, this is now a 2-star hotel in a very old 5-star building. But great location, lots of character. The buffet food was basic."
