Wat Phra Si Sanphet Tours

An enjoyable stay to start our holiday in Thailand before heading out to the Islands. Pros: comfortable beds. Spacious rooms. Great pool. Fantastic Spa & Staff. Breakfast was good. Location is excellent for local street food and supermarkets, without tourist prices. Highly recommend walking up to the Maji Marketplace a 10 min walk for a fantastic foodhall; drinks; shopping and a fantastic non-hotel priced Spa called Enrique. Not so great: the hotel is a little run down and has a big pigeon problem. Every room has nesting birds on the outdoor air con units which means the balcony is unusable due to huge amounts of bird poo (never cleaned up when room is serviced) they also make a lot of noise at sunrise and can wake you up. Walking around some rooms are badly affected, with a LOT of pigeons and pigeon poo - and seemingly nothing being done by the hotel. The Bathrooms are tired and could do with a refresh. But they are usable. Just not usual 4 star standard. Pictures were obviously taken years ago when it was fresh and vibrant Overall its a nice spot, out of the city and close to the airport - but a little shabby and reception team aren't great at communication!

This is one of the best hotels. The location, the helpful staff, the cleanliness and the free amenities made my stay even better. I will definitely stay here again if I get the chance.

Great hotel for the one night i stayed there before travelling on. The room was clean and had plenty of room. The breakfast was very good with plenty of choice from around the world to suit every taste. The only downside was during the check-in process a couple of us were waiting to check in when another guest (who was also checking in) walked to the front of the queue and was served by the staff rather than being asked to wait his turn along with everyone else.
