I came to Ballarat to stay close to the lake (and see the Olympics display), and this property did the trick. No frills, simple room, but it worked for my stay. It was also within walking distance to a grocery store, which worked out well for my budget.

I was meeting a group off guys coming from all directions to meet and then depart for a trip. Booking was simple the receptionist was extremely helpful.
It was a lovely night so we decided to have a BBQ a couple of beers and ready ourselves for an early start.
Great shower.
Would highly recommend.

What a great historical hotel in the heart of Ballarat. The room was up to date and the staff was helpful with our luggage. We ate in the hotel restaurant and the food was delicious and the service excellent. There was no problem with parking on site, especially upon our late night return from the Sovereign Hill Aura event.

I want to live in this apartment! Situated in a fully renovated art deco-era apartment block, only a few houses back from Lake Wendouree, this place was perfect for our overnight stay. Clean, comfy, reasonably priced, great communication with the host. The artworks were impressive too.
