Historic property downtown. A lot of dining options all within four blocks. The staff was very friendly and informative. Gave some history on the hotel and also the surrounding area. They also provided a key fob to a gym just two blocks away. Breakfast was limited, but we don't normally rely on a hotel breakfast. The hotel bar had delightful craft cocktails! Overall the place is very well taken care of. We will stay again!

This is a beautiful and lovingly restored facility in every respect. It has been tastefully updated. It is in a great setting, right on Main Street Cedar Falls. The staff is excellent. The only minus is parking. Overlook that and book, it's a fabulous hotel with lots of character.

Excellent location in downtown Cedar Falls. Historic hotel full of charm. Bar Winslow has Steph, an amazing mixologist and front desk staff helpful and accomodating. $10 coupon for Bar Winslow presented at check in. Close to many restaurants and other attractions. Nice touch in the morning with pastries from Bambinos Bakery. Will stay at The Black Hawk every chance we get.

We just loved our stay! It’s so comfortable and quiet here - and cool during the hot weather. The hotel is right on Main Street with all the restaurants and coffee shops and bars you need to be surrounded by Cedar Falls’ finest establishments.
