"Had a lovely stay at Windsor cottage. Well presented, great amenities and the most comfortable bed in the master bedroom. Slept like a log! Ate out in local restaurants, which were lovely especially Alberto’s Italy. There are a couple of free parking areas in town 5-10 minutes away. During our stay there was a film set in place for Father Brown and a restriction at the end of the road. It didn’t take away from our stay, but was glad of the premier inn parking just a 100m away. "The location was close to the high street and conveniently accessible to nearby attractions in the Cotswolds. The house was cozy and warm, making it a great choice for a family winter getaway for a few days. However, there were a few minor details that could be improved, such as the TV remote lacking batteries (we had to purchase and replace them ourselves) and the kitchen knives being quite dull, which made them difficult to use. These small points aside, we had an enjoyable stay overall."

"Nothing special just a typical motorway hotel and very dated and staff were very unwelcomeing and unpleasant"

"Lovely hotel, the only negative is the bathroom (bath) layout. The ease of getting in and out of the bath with the surrounding boxing I found very unsafe. The step in and out is far too big. Even after using the bath mat provided and the hand rail I still managed to have an accident and I’m a young and fit person. The fact that a sign is on the wall telling people to use the handrail means the hotel must realise this is an issue."

"The staff were brilliant, they were friendly and really helpful with our room request. The room was very clean, amd the aircon was a godsend at a time of a May heatwave! The restaurant area was clean, well staffed and the hot food on the dinner menu was very good. Would stay again and would recommend"

Extra cost if you arrive an hour early Extra cost to use gym ( not highlighted anywhere) Slow service lunch - over 45 mins for food to arrive Breakfast was a mess - no staff - dirty tables - food low.chaotic and poor experience. "Great location but living on its laurels and in urgent need of refurbishment. Unpleasant stains in the bathroom, only sunflower shower (terrible if you have had a recent and expensive blow dry), just feels shabby and outdated. Shame, as it could be a really nice spot for returning customers. Not me as things stand."
