Great room. Clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The young lady that checked me in was awesome, absolutely wonderful customer service. Breakfast was fabulous.

They are in the process of installing an elevator so the guests had to take the stairs. The stairs smelled of fresh paint because of current renovations. The reception staff is not always there, so getting service after or before business hours is difficult. The hallways are very dark, but the rooms are very clean and comfortable, especially the bathrooms. The breakfast was a very good and plenty of variety. The location is very good and easy walk to the train station.

Wernigerode visit

The hotel is conveniently located within walking distances of city center. Vibrant town with shopping and dinning close. Tourist information was available in the lobby. Language barrier upon checking in making it a challenge to get checked in. The automated check in, emails, reception all in German. Be patient during you stay if using translation apps. We were able to get by without any major issues. The breakfast in the morning is worth the extra charge. Nice setting and convenient so you don’t have to leave the hotel. Overall, our stay was pleasant and would recommend this location.

Das Zimmer war sehr gut, das Bad überraschend geräumig.Auch Verdunklungsrollos gab es. Leider liegt das Hotel an einer stark befahrenen Kreuzung, so das wir, die einen leichten Schlaf haben beizeiten munter waren. Dafür hat uns das reichliche Frühstücksbüfett entschädigt, das wirklich sehr gut war. Danke

Vi ankom omkring kl. 21:30 og blev mødt af en telefonhotline og en nøgleboks – helt fint i sig selv, men derefter gik det ned ad bakke. Hele trappeopgangen og værelsesgangene var under renovering og lignede mest af alt en byggeplads. Der var bestilt værelse til 3 personer, men der var kun redt op til 2. Efter at have ringet til hotellets hotline fik vi lovning på, at det manglende sengetøj ville blive bragt op – det skete aldrig. Da vi kom tilbage ved 23:30-tiden, var der stadig ikke gjort noget. Først næste aften lykkedes det personalet (som mest af alt virkede som forvirrede amatører) at finde en dyne, pude og få redt sovesofaen op. Efter opholdet skrev vi til hotellet, da vi havde glemt noget cykeludstyr – men de har aldrig svaret. Alt i alt en dårlig oplevelse, og jeg kommer ikke igen. Selv de lokale tyskere vi talte med, kendte hotellets dårlige ry. Det eneste plus: Morgenmadsbuffeten var faktisk rigtig god.

Leider stimmte unser Zimmer 202 mit der Darstellung auf unserer Buchungsbestätigung überein. Es war klein und sehr verwinkelt durch die Badabtrennung anderer Zimmer. Das Fenster klemmte und ließ sich nur schwer öffnen. Es fehlte eine Beleuchtung über der Sitzecke sowie ungenügende Ablagen für Kosmetikartikel im Bad, Positiv: freundliches Personal, Sauberkeit im Zimmer und das reichhaltige Frühstück.

Wernigerode heeft een leuk centrum met veel klassieke gebouwen. En de Harz, der Brocken en de Harzer Schmalspurbahn liggen natuurlijk dichtbij. Het ontbijt is zeer goed verzorgd!! Een beetje jammer: De lift is in onderhoud en tijdens mijn verblijf was er tussentijds geen schoonmaak van de kamer. Van beiden was het netter geweest als dit vooraf aangekondigd zou zijn geweest in plaats van dat je er ter plekke achter moet komen.

Rent och snyggt,bra frukost Hissen fungerade inte. Borde framgått vid bokningen. Badkar med dusch utan halkmatta. Kändes mycket halkigt att kliva i oc ur badkaret när man duschade. Vid incheckning blev vi lite tråkigt bemötta när vi inte direkt förstod instruktionerna på tyska.
